For the second consecutive day, hundreds gathered Saturday, May 30, in Rancho Cucamonga to protest the death of George Floyd at the hands of police in Minneapolis.
A group of at least 200 gathered midday, near Day Creek and Foothill Boulevard, carrying signs and chanting.
Floyd, 46, was an unarmed black man who died on May 25 in police custody after a Minneapolis officer kneeled on his neck. The officer was arrested Friday and charged with murder in a case that has sparked protests across the United States, including in Los Angeles, Riverside, and in Fontana Thursday night.
